The Local Administrations program can be compared to the Political Science and Public Administration departments in Turkey, but unlike them, it tries to understand the political, social, economic and administrative events from the local point of view. Local governments, on the one hand, look at the functioning of local politics and local democracy, on the other hand, they follow the global developments and the effects in the international arena.
